2010-1

feels like everyone is doing those end year review and looking to next year entries.
this is one year where i don't think i want to do one. not like i used to anyway.
it's funny. new years eve i was thinking about all the new year eves since 2000.
with significant difficulty, was able to rmb 8 of the 10. pretty shocking.

anyway. 2009. like most of my past few years. can be divided into 3 parts.
1. end of beijing to europe. beijing was awesome. cny and chinese bday in china was... . flying to europe was.... horrifying. LOL. travelling in europe was... sketchy. parents coming to visit was ... exhausting. but fun. i think.
2. starting work w/in 48 hrs of landing was ugh. 2.5 credits on top of 60hr+ work weeks + social + parties + etc is something i would never want to do again. but also learned what ppl r capable of under necessities.
3. back to school back to kingston. only doing 2.5 credits make life seem so awesome =D. the square consists of my social life in its entirety and learning a lot about life & fulfillment & what makes me happy.

so yes.. in general. an exhausting year. lol. and after the yr that 2008 was... as expected. somewhat *shrugs. ehhh. LOL.

2010. a yr only 4 yrs ago sounded like forever away. is now upon us. stealing from someone else's blog "just saying twenty ten makes u sound like u're in the future".
2010 is scary. lol.
it's the last term of 16 years of continuous schooling (+ 3 of Chinese kindergarten-ing). ...
it's a year of uncertainty. i have nooooooooo idea what i'm doing after april 2010.
it's a year of possibilities. the decision to go back to beijing on my own has been made. anything could happen...
anyhow. it's scary. and i don't know how excited i am. lol.
